Apple’s 14 inch M5 Pro MacBook Pro with 2TB of storage has dropped to US$2,399 at Amazon, down from US$2,999. That is a saving of $600, or approximately 20%, on a configuration with substantial storage and 24GB of unified memory.
The featured deal applies to the Space Black model with a 15 core CPU, 16 core GPU and standard display. The price was reported on October 12, so check the listing before ordering.

Double the storage for $100 more
The most interesting comparison is with the discounted 1TB configuration.
Amazon’s reported price for the 14 inch M5 Pro model with the same processor and 24GB of memory is US$2,299. That puts the featured 2TB version just $100 higher.
For photographers, video editors and anyone managing large local files, the extra capacity could be more useful than a modest saving upfront. It provides more room for active projects, applications and media without immediately relying on external storage.
More storage does not increase processing power, however. The advantage here is capacity and convenience.
What the featured configuration includes
The discounted laptop combines an M5 Pro processor with 24GB of unified memory and a 2TB SSD.
It is worth checking those details carefully when comparing offers. Amazon listings can contain several configurations, and changing the colour, memory or storage selection may change the price.
This particular deal is for the standard display model. It should not be confused with a different display option or the higher specification M5 Pro configuration.
More 14 inch MacBook Pro deals
Other reported 14 inch offers include the M5 model with a 10 core CPU, 10 core GPU, 16GB of memory and 1TB of storage at US$1,837.
A more powerful M5 Pro configuration with an 18 core CPU, 20 core GPU, 24GB of memory and 2TB of storage is listed at US$2,599.
That creates a $200 gap between the featured 2TB deal and the higher specification processor. Whether that additional spend makes sense depends on the work you do and how heavily it uses the CPU and GPU.
Larger MacBook Pro models are discounted too
The 16 inch M5 Pro with an 18 core CPU, 20 core GPU, 24GB of memory and 1TB of storage has been reported at US$2,499, a $500 reduction.
At that price, it costs $100 more than the featured 14 inch model but provides half the storage. The choice is therefore partly about whether you value a larger screen or more internal capacity.
Additional 16 inch discounts extend to configurations with more memory and M5 Max processors, although those raise the total purchase price considerably.
Check the exact model before buying
The US$2,399 offer stands out most for buyers who already need a MacBook Pro and would benefit from 2TB of storage. A large discount alone does not make a professional laptop necessary for lighter everyday tasks.
Before paying, confirm the selected configuration, seller, delivery estimate and return terms. All prices here are in US dollars and may change with stock availability.
